Now according to Vygotsky’s theory of development, the socialization of the individual will affect how they learn. Learning is explained as a process affected by socialization. There is a conscious awareness in the child to socialize by communicating (Vygotsky, 1978). Now there is a guided setting provided for students to work as a group where they would focus on their task and at the same time would also socialize. The case scenario shows that students learn as groups for studying various topics in the outside environment. Lessons were conducted partially in the class room environment and then in the outside environment. While there is some form of restricted socializing as students carry out their activities as a group, the only free time that students get to actively engage in what they want to and socialize as they will be the recess time. However, Ann instead of understanding that this time is valuable seems to have engaged a substantial amount of children to focus on outside activities as a continuation of their daily learning. Lev Vygotsky’s theory focuses on a concept called as the zone of proximal development.
It is defined as “the distance between the actual developmental level as determined by independent problem solving and the level of potential development as determined through problem solving under adult guidance, or in collaboration with more capable peers” (Vygotsky, 1978, p. 86). Interaction with peers and more will help student to develop better. A student who is already in their zone of proximal development just needs a boost to complete the task. This was also the birth of the term called scaffolding. A student will need a scaffold initially to complete the task, the scaffolding could be given in the form of guidance by the teacher or the peer and once it has been identified that the student is able to successfully complete the task then the scaffolding can be removed. Scaffolding is a form of guided learning where those elements of learning that is not in student’s capacity are usually brought to the focus of the student so that they can improve competence in the same (Wood et al, 1976, p. 90).

Easy Jet organisation is a UK based airline organisation that started its operations in airline industry back in year 1995. The inception of Easy Jet organisation was to focus on the low-cost market segment of airline industry solely and not to have any presence in the premium airline industry at all. Since its launch, Easy Jet organisation has met with great success in financial and consumer satisfaction aspects of the business. The mission statement of Easy Jet organisation is to become the largest airline company in Europe in terms of market share (easyjet.com, 2016). Achieving this goal requires Easy Jet organisation to expand to more territories or to penetrate into market share of other low-cost and premium airline organisations. Performing organisation audit on the business environment of an organisation is a great method of understanding market positioning and business impacting factors’ influence on the organisation (Ackermann and Eden, 2011). Performing a SWOT analysis on the business environment of Easy Jet organisation allows analysis of internal factors that impact and influence business operations of Easy Jet Plc.
Stakeholder analysis enables the organisation to make an evaluation of its existing market positioning and also the base of its organisational structure to identify need for change in the business practices and operations. For Easy Jet organisation, performing stakeholder analysis is inherently important as it allows understanding the needs of various different stakeholders of the organisation, which provides required information to the organisation for its existing strategy and any potential need for improvement in the strategy. If the organisation is going through any plans to change its business strategy, then performing stakeholder analysis becomes even more important as it enables the organisation to make an assessment of its new strategy on individual stakeholders. Currently, the airline industry in European country is having a difficult time growing further as it has nearly achieved its saturation point, leaving no other market share that has not already been converted into consumers of European airline industry.

The first responsibility of managers is to convey the intention as well as plan for the change to employees on a wartime basis. The leaders are responsible for communicating updates related to the strategy for change implementation along the course of strategy development. The management of an organization has to assist people in understanding the nature of the change being applied to the organization and the reason for application of change. The management must also find out the possible reasons for employee reluctance towards change. The tendency of employees to find out the reason for change and how it will affect them, invokes the need for provision of proper information on the change process (Keppel & Wardell‐Johnson, 2012). The process of change has to be complemented by responsive channels of communication between managers and employees will catalyze the process of training and information sharing. The frequent involvement of employees in decision making processes related to change induces a feeling of recognition in employees and thus, they embrace the process of change. The irregularities in implementation of change can be far detrimental than the absence of a change process. Inappropriate procedures and strategies for change can induce disbelief in employees regarding the proficiency of senior management (Hornstein, 2015).
The chances of success of any strategy for organizational change are minimized in event of previous failures of change implementation. The organization’s management must understand that introducing a change in the organization should be carried in context with a clear set of objectives. The evolution of FedEx through different changes throws some light on the change management process in the organization. A brief description of the organization’s journey over the years and the consistent process of implementing changes have been provided as follows. The company started off with two small French-made airplanes and a few employees who used personal conveyance to conduct deliveries (Goetsch & Davis, 2014). The company has the Federal Reserve System as its first client and was responsible for the overnight transfer of checks and vital documents between banks. The intention for expanding the company arose from the priority of items such as medical supplies and computer peripherals and equipment. The company expanded with the inclusion of nine more Falcons in its fleet and thus ventured into new domains such as Midwest and South.
