If I had known I would have waited in emergency care earlier to book the said appointment, else I would have approached someone practicing in private. In addition to advising me to simply wait, the attending doctor also did not tell me how I should take care of my feet or care for myself as I continued to wait for the injury. After this incident, I had to come back to China in order to address the injury properly because at this time I was worried with how it was going to affect my walking. I met with doctors here in my country who advised me to keep it raised and not allow for the swelling to progress.
