Western art vs Eastern art
Eastern artists make use of calligraphy style brush paint in the works but Western artists utilize oil on canvas in their portfolios. Western arts are only influenced by religion whereas Eastern arts are influenced by both tradition and culture. One thing that is common in both the artists is the application of cultural background in the artwork (Bao et al., 2016). Western artists are particular to use historical equivalents in their works while Eastern artists reference to the local traditions relating to history and spirituality. Western artists have emerged and succeeded since Renaissance period while Eastern artists focus on the context details in paintings.
The categories that were included in both Eastern and Western artworks commonly include people and landscapes. Still, the aesthetics differed in the paintings (Tanneeru, 2006). The reason for the high reputation of Western artists is the high degree of aesthetics understanding. This has gained cultural appreciation and involvement of other countries to the art of West. Soon after globalization has started and created a revolution, the Western artists applied psychological understanding to the spaces and presented both insider and outsider perspectives. The problem with East that became a strength in West is the representation. The art work was natural and similar to the reality but East portrayed human figures in smaller sizes and the representation changed.
