A Review on Productivity and Resources
Productivity and customer satisfaction are the two main elements of any business and without them running any business is useless and wasteful. So, we require strategies, techniques and plans to develop a method through which we can assure customer satisfaction and at the same time keep up our productivity (Cheremisinoff, 1995). As we talk about productivity we see that productivity dependant on a number of things and these can be ranging from managing employees, advertisement, increasing or reducing prices, etc. So, we see that we can achieve productivity from a number of ways. Of these methods the most important and the one we will be discussing is the attainment of customer satisfaction and productivity through the use of resources and processes (Cassidy A.; Cassidy P., 2010) (Kudyba; Hoptorff, 2001). Processes and resources are the two strong entities in any business and they can help anyone in manoeuvring their business’ potential and outcomes. Resources are as important to any business as oxygen to living beings. They are the key drivers of any business and we require them to keep our business at an optimum level. Resources can be of different type let it be human resources where we manage and make best use of our man power than we have financial resources that we use to manage different things in our businesses (Barodal, 2008).
Financial resources are also as important as human resources and any good company requires the best combination of these two resources to work effectively. The use of these resources is the best way manipulate and arrange the business (Harvard Business School, 2013). We can put money on certain areas and at the same time provide better man power at the other and with the combination of these two resources we can address any challenges faced by our business (2002). Now to see what this would mean for our business.
