The article of Lynch and Miske takes a completely opposite context as here the argument places is that Canada must regulate not to only ensure that it has access to a diverse market, but also to ensure that it forges new energy relationships with the world. The article advocates for a Canada to take up newer opportunities that the oil sands could open up. In terms of economic and energy infrastructure, if Canada was to address properly, the three licensing requirements of the commercial license, the Policy license and the Social license then it could truly be putting itself forward in the near future. An integration of the opportunities that are presented by Lynch and Miske with the concerns that are raised by Horberg and Phillips, and Nikiforuk presents a comprehensive mapping of the issue. The reader of these three articles will be able to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each article as it is compared against another. Horberg and Phillips present the argument against the oil sands issue, same as Nikiforuk but are stronger in their discussion because of their logos style of discussion. Lynch and Miske on the other hand present the brighter picture along with the concerns also and this is needed to balance the critiques presented by the other two articles.
