According to my opinion, what I believe is that controlling college player’s social media is good as these players spend a lot of time on social media websites instead of doing practice and it badly affects their career too. As it has been analyzed in the given papers  that now days, all the students like to share their life and their personal moments on social media like any special event or birthday party, success or failure news, their strengths and weaknesses but it can have a bad impact on them. They can suffer by sharing their personal issues publicly as the rivals can take advantage of this and can manipulate them. These tweets and posts can even embarrass their family and coaches as well and it badly affects their career.

It has been examined from all these papers that college students are getting addicted to social media and spend a lot of time on these social networking sites like twitter and they damage their reputation by these activities which are the big hindrances for their bright future (Steinbach n.par.). These social networking sites have a bad impact on student athletes, for instance, twitter is the most popular and favored platform for student athletes but also the platform where they post something inappropriate and criticize other athletes and this kind of activity spoils their career as media takes advantage of such inappropriate tweets and this kind of exposure is not good for their public image.
