The project is an eye opener to me. I have never taken a chance to study my capabilities and assess my future. This project has given me numerous learning outcomes and unforgettable achievements.
From a normal student to a team leader, the transition is huge and my personality skills have developed at a faster pace to equip myself to the needs of others.
From a person who lacks communication skill to a person who can take the organization to the next level through communication, the project has taught tolerance, team management, participation, assertiveness and most importantly, delegation.
I have never been a leader in the past and my future did not show instances of I being a leader but this project did. It transformed and moulded me entirely to suit both personal and professional lives.
I am working on areas of developing quality portfolio, enhancing team management and resolving conflicts through proper proven strategies (Eddy, 1981). These can further motivate me to become a better person in the environment. At several instances, I was termed as a role model to many. This is an unforgettable journey that has brought my inner abilities to the external world.
The ratings denote that the project has enhanced communication skills and leadership abilities but the portfolio still continues to be weak. It is essential to improve the portfolio to make it productive for the future.
I have conducted a self-analysis of myself to determine the competencies and the necessary behavioural practices to aid me in my growth. I found that my emotional wellbeing is a factor that is lacking more. Personality development demands healthy approaches to deal with challenges. To succeed in this area, it is essential for me to work on network building, developing insights on areas where I am weak, taking self-care, speaking up, being confident and responding in the right way to opportunities (Griffin, 2014). These are the growth hackers that can help me surpass and achieve professionalism and productivity in the years to come.
