Creativity is an important element, when it is related to societal growth and education. In the contemporary world, it is very important to promote creativity in children. The amount of information, and degree of complexity of the issues in the society, require creative solutions. Creativity is also important for learning. For the student, creativity is process, where they can apply their knowledge and their own ideas to create something new. Learning is also a creative process, which allow individual to include meaningfulness in their creativity. Not all the educational institutions and schools promote creative environment for the students. Creativity supportive environment requires “communication, consensus, consistency, clarity, coherence, consideration, community, cohesiveness, commitment, concern, care, and cooperation” (Cole, Sugioka, & Yamagata-Lynch, 1999).

According to some other researchers, the environment promotes “independence, risk-taking, and intrinsic motivation have been found most conducive for creativity” (Richardson, 1988; Shaughnessy, 1991). This environment could only be created with the help of teachers. Teachers should encourage and accept creative thinking, teachers should be able to tolerate dissent, they should allow students to trust their own decision, teachers should emphasize on the fact that everyone has some kind of creativity within them, and teachers should work as a stimulus for promoting creativity through modeling and brainstorming activities. Teachers are in the best position to evoke creativity among students. Student- teacher relationship is very significant for promoting creativity in environment (Neihart, 1998).
