The team’s responsibilities were distributed according to the interest of the team members. In case of rise of conflict, the team made decisions through proper communication and switch over policy is used as the solution for the conflict. The switch over ensures specific performance from a person for a shorter period of time before the same is handed over to the other. This makes the team to have different roles. The successful communication should include an open for criticism and suggestions attitude. The criticism allowed should be constructive and some autonomous should be given to the teammates to freely perform their task (Gates, 2003).

The team members should behave in the way to work in situation when the work of other team member is dependent over their work. Say for example, if reporting is assigned to a nurse and she shows careless attitude towards making and updating the sheets at regular interval, the nurse with duties to give medicine to the patient will not be able to perform his/her duties efficiently. I think I can better handle the situation as I know myself as a person whose better came in a situation of stress. The communicational skills are the most important trait I have to deal with the situation. The knowledge that I need to learn is to estimate the passion and commitment of the colleagues related to the work and to expect the same level performance out of them, rather than thinking every one of them at the same level. The communication needs to be constructive within the multidisciplinary team. Such teams need communication because of difference in the knowledge and background. The difference of discipline requires more adjustment and understanding, the problem solving skills will require a combination of different discipline executed in a way that best suited to the solution. The solution may require a discipline to dominate over the other and the other needs to play a role of facilitator.
