This homogenization of the process leads to people not to express their innate talent and become a paradigm for a single occupation. These notions of work leads to the loss of the social relationship between the people. There is a sense of becoming a part of the system and the people are forced to become a person of the society. The notions of spiritually and the smaller happiness of living life becomes mechanized in the process and leads to the people to lose their sense of self-worth and individuality to fit into the paradigms (McLellan, 1980). These in turn leads to alienation of the people. People start to feel alone in the mechanized world.
Hegel states that the distinction between the essence of life and existence becomes obscured. The people start to lose their individuality in these processes. Marx also bolsters these accounts. There is negation of happiness and the loss of identity in the process of employment. People are coerced by the society directly or indirectly to behave in a certain manner that is construed to be acceptable. These leads to the development of mechanization of the process and the loss of self-worth. Marx further states that the people become a part of a system with no real human spirit. All these would lead to a colossal failure of productivity and the development of human spirit, freedom would be stunted. Hence Marx states that the capitalistic system of work and division of labor leads people to face issues that cost their emotional wellbeing.
