In current scenario, the issue of homeless people is widespread all across the world and unfortunately a pressing one. There are several reasons behind the every growing problem of homelessness; some of these could be because of low salary, high rent for the habitation, loss of all the members of the family and mental disability etc. People need to live further somehow, when people are in such a difficult situation and they would be willing to do anything to have a safe roof over them instead of living in a small carton and beg for some money. In order to deracinate the problem, the government of different nations started several different social programs (Kuhn & Culhane 1998). But, the results of these problems are not positive and some of which are observable are not that evident. To view the problem of homelessness as a whole, the people who are homeless are still increasing and this problem has become more pressing.
One of the most feasible and an appropriate decision looking at the level of homeless people all across the world is that, depending on the nature or the problem of the homeless people the policies must be decided. For instance, the government and the community must take certain actions or formulate policies for the people who are in low income level or are unemployed. Also, free or cheap medicinal treatment and availability of medicines must be provided to the people who have individual disabilities (McLean & Schroeder 2004). At the same time the government of different nations must aim at rendering out important projects like providing free high school education to all the children and at the same time providing them with proper job training so that personal skills could be build up and they could get ready for the professional job market.
