This company has a niche for itself in the consumers. However, recently the company has shown a 13% decline in the sales figures globally. The company had managed to post a profit this quarter but for it to survive it needs to change some of the working organizational patterns. It had a successful strategy in the past however the new age consumer feels that the food quality is not high and that McDonalds foods are not healthy foods. Increase in competition in the global markets has also aided to the decline of sales. It is expected that the new CEO Steve Easterbrook would bring in a new perspective and change in design, strategy, and implementation policies of McDonalds. There will be a paradigm change in the business operations of the company.

For a corporation to have successful management at any level it should have the four integral elements. They are planning, organizing, controlling and leading. These four elements are actually a cycle where each entity is dependent on each other (Griffin, 2013) the four integral elements of McDonalds are examined in this report. McDonalds Corporation is a successful global player. It has proved itself in the past. Currently there has been a decline in the company sales of about 13% globally (Hill, 2015). Owing to which the planning, organizing, leadership and control operations of the company has been changed.
