The leadership goals that were needed were detailed from this exercise. The people have life changing revelations that I have had from this process. These are not cliché statements. However, I really did have a lot of comprehensions about where I needed to focus in the future.
One of the most challenging aspects of being a leader is that it is ubiquitous concept. The vagueness of the parameters makes it open for interpretation and they stem from not being in context. The aspect of being supportive is subjective. I comprehend that I need to read a lot more and develop my skills from working in challenging situations.
The main KPI that I feel that I must develop to survive in the business world is develop more social skills and be more amiable. I need to be more empathetic to the differing views and use more patience in conflict situations. However, I have deemed that the important aspect need to be developed in 6 months times. This is a lifelong learning process.
To conclude, an implied vagueness seems to exist. These of the parameters that are often associated with being a leader. The leader must not be egotistical and at the same time need to be self-assured. They must have some preconceived notions. However, it should not be biased. The aspects of feedback must be used to listen for self-introspection. However, the people must not develop inferiority from the fallacies of the person. Hence, it is deduced that the act of being a leader is a lifelong process.
