In conclusion it could be said that the majority of the people (about 60%) use bus as a mode of transportation for more than 4 times in a week. This could be regarded to the punctuality of the bus as it was for only very less amount of time when the bus was late. People consider bus to be a good mode of transportation as on an average an individual has to wait only for 5.8 minutes to get a bus. Moreover, it has been seen in the survey that the buses for a required route comes for about 21.8 times wherein there is no transfer of buses in more than 50% of times, which is a very good indication. But, it has also been seen that people also tend to choose other means of transport over bus which might be because of the unavailability of bus in a certain location. Overall, the experiences of the people in buses have been good taking into consideration the cleanliness in the bus and also their experience at the bus stop.
Thus, the overall population of the City of Saint Johns must realize the fact that the public mode of transportation (in this case buses) is not an expense but is an added asset to the city. A stronger market could be created together with a huge base of the customer if the budget is based on the service rather than the services being based on the budget as this would cater the needs and requirements of the people.
