There are some inherent threats in this process of logistic management. The company operates in numerous locations across the spectrum. Global production process can be affected due to the political stresses and also due to market uncertainty (Lemke & Petersen 2013). Some primary sources needed for the production process are limited in stock (Weill & Woerner, 2012). To deal with this issue the company needs to find alternative raw materials. Company outsources numerous processes to other omcpnaies operating in different geographical location. In such scenario there is a need to ensure that the companies do not undertake in reverse engineering products and create substitutes for the product design (Supply Chain 2015). To thwart the process of reverse reengineering this situation they have diversified production process to many other companies (Supply Chain 2015). There is also a trust that Apple Inc. places with other partnering companies in order to avoid companies from mimicking their products and deliverables. Another real risk is that by not assessing consumer behaviour properly their product design could become obsolete.
There is a strict confidentiality that is followed in Apple. Any discussions about new product range would lead to immediate dismissal of the employees. Confidentiality clause rules applied to all the employees of Apple. It ranges from retail positions to high corporate positions of the company. Employees of Apple have several benefits that are provided by the company (Sethi, 2012). In Apple people are not segregated based on their ethnicity or beliefs. Employees are rewarded based on performance. Generally Apple employees in United States are treated fairly. However this is not the case with other countries. Apple employees in China encounter several issues and undue pressure by the management (Shen, 2013). Some analysts are of the opinion that Apple follows cost culture for the employee and value cultures for the consumers. Cost culture is causing considerable stress for the employees in the company (Shen, 2013). The business operations are found to be different when the company operates in other geographical location (Chan, Pun, & Selden, 2013). There has been criticism for the treatment of employees by Apple Company operating in China.
