Is Liberalism a Culture-specific concept? Thus, liberalism is correct when being called as culture-specific because there is no other force or ideologies which is applied on masses as culture originated from religion, which perhaps, puts restrictions on the individual choices and destroys the will of man to be himself. Culture forms a set of liberal favourites which man willingly follows because of it being liberal and not harming anyone, and seeking to take humanity towards equality, if not restricting them to one way of behaving and living. In contrasts, liberalism again is not a culture-specific concept from the premise that liberalism, per se, is an invention only when there was seen some kind of restriction on free will, but it does not rule out its prior existence even when there was not culture. Culture is associated with sentient beings who follow specific dogmatic religious rules, and are more driven by their willingness to associate with a religion or a region’s culture (Moore and Kymlicka, 1992).

This itself makes liberalism a rediscovery and not an invention, because anything which is just discovered when its need felt is utmost can always have its eternal existence even before there was a need for such a concept and ideology. Liberalism could have been in existence but was never really inquired enough to bring it to one’s knowledge until there was a need for it. Hence liberalism can also be said to be an individual concept and not associated with an influence of culture, from the fact that it disproves its invention on the basis that it was brought forward only when it was needed and could have still remained undiscovered of there was no need for society to be liberal in nature and there were no restrictions on free will. Liberalism is an individual concept and is applicable to all ideologies, including political, religious, social, cultural, and logic and reasoning, making it diverse in tis reach and not confined to the shells of being culture-specific.
