The meaningful effects of social change due to the power of baseball game were expressed by Hayurst. The integration of the society that clearly symbolizes the democracy in the American society that became more intense even though it was not very convincing. This symbolization was well enough to argue that the game of baseball can be played by any player belonging to any background and size at the highest professional level. It was stated that a man of any color after being associated with any other group of players can learn the ethics of the game with complete effectiveness and efficiency. The racial integration of the baseball game was due to the associational power and the associational myth of baseball game that emerged as a powerful cultural event in the country. In professional sports the first –ever Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) had its negotiation with the Major League Baseball Players Association in 1968. This agreement has strengthened since its evolution over a period of time with each passing generation of players. The agreement strengthening is even with greater personal sacrifice that ensures the continuity of rights for the coming generation.
The founding of International Association with various teams in Rochester, Pittsburgh, Columbus and Ontario etc. the minor leagues were dated in the late 19th century. The “farm-system” provides the genesis for the current structure of the minor league baseball. The farm system was established by Branch Rickey and that was the time when he was working as a General Manager of the St. Louis Cardinals. 32 minor leagues were owned by Ricky’s Cardinals by 1940 and even had its affiliation agreements with 8 others. Above 800 baseball players were controlled by Rickey. In present scenario minor leagues are dramatically scaled back in which each team comprises of 200 players approximately who work under contact of 6-7 minor league teams. In this league each team was composed of “AAA” team and “AA” team with a high and low “A” and they also had 1-2 short-season rookie league teams. In Venezuela and Dominican Republic many summer league teams were also managed by majority of the major league teams.
