These fairy tales, their plots and characters contribute in the encouragement of the full development while being relieved from the stress within the subconscious mind as it plays a role of satisfying the requirements of super ego and identity by imagining in an active manner. The fact should not be denied that the thinkers of the modern era who have been interested in studying fairy tales and myth were able to reach to the same concluding point that all of these stories, plots and characters are simply the model developed for the behaviour of human that contributes in giving meaning and enhancing the value in life.
It has been argued that the modification of behaviour can be done by socialization and experiences as humans develop and move towards predetermined stage for development from the period of infancy to the period of adulthood. The two key instincts of motivation are procreation and survival that come under the life instinct and the desire for being self- destructive as well as destructive that comes under the death instinct. Both the instincts contribute in providing energy of psychic that is present within the soul for developing the personality and what factors contribute in driving the behaviour (Anggard, 2005). All of these desires and instincts are situated within the unconscious mind that has been identified as the key source for the development of ego, desires and behaviour that are developed by the utilization of this material for helping in the creation of the entire personality. If one stays deprived of it, then there are chances that the life might remain restricted, as there is a need for nurturing the children with their fantasies for having a healthy ego and a healthy personality.
