The sculpture of Mother Mary kept in the Royal Ontario Museum has also been gone through such studies. Many of the researchers have come out stating different opinions about the piece of art. Some argued that how a human could can give birth to God and hence they were not ready to accept Mary as Mother of God. This argument may arise either because they believed in the supremacy of God or they cannot agree that a female could be so powerful that she could give birth to God. The presumption that males are more powerful than females can lead to the thought that a lady cannot give birth to God. They argue that Virgin Mary was the mother of Jesus Christ as a human and not the mother of God.
Pollock has also suggested that if more female art historians start to enter the field then their feminist mind set would reveal much more of the artefacts than is already known to us. They will have a fresh approach towards studying the texts, pictures, sculptures and other historic pieces of art which will bring out more facts related to the old social structure. This would help us to reform the current social structure with the findings and it would also help the human race as a whole. The need of the hour is to have a feminist interpretation of all the historical artefacts which are present today. This will also affect the political side of the society too. It will give a paradigm shift to the ways in which people think and act.
