My choice of Huawei International Enterprise is mainly determined by two reasons. To start with, I am familiar with the brand of Huawei and have heard this brand before. Huawei International Enterprise is renowned for its technology and has cooperated with many banks around the world. It also cooperates with my university, the University of Groningen, on the system of campus network, which is therefore the aspect that interests me most. Besides, some of my friends who have taken placements there before give good feedback about their working experience. Thus, I think that Huawei maintains a nice corporate culture.Secondly, the nature of this company suits my expectations to work in a transnational company and I am able to totally emerse myself in an international atmosphere.

Huawei International Enterprise does business in approximately 170 countries and has its own partners all over the world. In this case, working in Huawei, an international technology company, could make me adapt to the international environment and get familiar with the policy of information security. Besides, I would like to improve my communication skills by doing this placement. The marketing team of Huawei caters to my expectation very much, since it is a team which can negotiate with the business teams from different countries and can equip me with the skills of teamwork and cooperation. In this way, the communication skills would be fully practiced. What’s more, Huawei, as a rapidly growing dynamic organisation could also enhance my flexibility and build up my capalibity of dealing with various difficulties.
