Therefore, this has become the main cause of the increasing rates of divorce in the United States.

Apart from this, United States is also juggling with the major issue of same sex marriage as many people are annoyed with this action of American government while, Chinese government have not legally approved such kind of action (Dominican Republic, 2010). On the other hand, the major reason of declining rate of marriage in both the countries is the invention of “the birth control pill” as it has allowed the people to get intimate without getting married with the little fear of an unwanted pregnancy which can be terminated easily. Therefore, both the countries differ in several aspects in their respective legal process of marriage and divorce.
