Service quality is identified as important in a large number of studies that have been conducted in the past. As for example, a study as carried out by Ranaweera and Neely (2004) is focused towards analysing the existence of quality-customer retention link and the conduct of the study revealed significant level of findings. It has been evaluated in the study that the perception of service quality delivered is directly related to the customer satisfaction and their retention within the organisation. By focusing on the quality factors in particular, the retail firms can ensure the better overall satisfaction of customers, and with this, they can expect of retaining them within the organisation (Ranaweera and Neelym, 2003). Similarly, a study was conducted by Gomez, McLaughlin and Wittink (2004) indicated that there would be rise in the revenue of the company from satisfied customers because they would likely to visit again in order to avail its services. The study indicated that an important way in which the satisfaction of customers to a higher level can be achieved in supermarkets is mainly by way of establishing customer satisfaction management programs in particular. There could be the application of techniques such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in achieving higher customer satisfaction level (Gomez, McLaughlin and Wittink, 2004).

1Issue 1: Issues of Culture
It was apparent that there had been differences in the styles and gestures of interpersonal talk amongst both the teams.
1.The team of the United States were expecting to converse only about the proposal of business; whereas, their counterparts from China were showing keen interest in personal questions.
2.When both the teams were at the banquet, there was a lack of understanding in the team of United States in consideration with the etiquettes of China. Mr. Brown had offered the initial toast. As per the Chinese culture, this toast was meant to be made by the host. Also, the team of United States had no idea about the fact that who will be leaving first.
3.Another issue with respect to culture was that there was a requirement of more than one trip to China as they were not moving towards progress with respect to the business meeting (Schwartz, 2007). According to Mr. Brown, this was mainly due to the fact that the team of China was mainly focusing on pleasantries along with continuous questions in the duration of presentations.

As far as knowledge about product is concerned, it is essential for the sales rep to have extensive knowledge about the characteristics, strengths and weaknesses about the product he is selling. He must possess information about the variety of product the company sells along with the availability of each product in stock. A well-informed sales rep will be able to cater his client in a far better way.

For starting B2B sales, the company should consider 6 stages of selling process. The first stage of prospecting has already been done and three newly established 5-star hotels are selected. Second step is opening the relationship, which means how to approach the customer. For this purpose, decision maker, demands and influence relative to the customer must be known. Third step is to qualify the prospect, that is, to make the prospect feel the need of the product. Fourth step is to transmit the information and core competencies to the prospect and pursue him to become customer. Fifth is to close the sale, that is, to make transaction and final deal. Sixth is the final step of providing services to the customer, taking feedback and satisfying his demands. The most important steps in the selling process are fourth and sixth step. It is really important that how a seller transmits his potential information to the client to pursue him. Secondly the most important of all is providing above satisfactory services to the client as it is said that a satisfied customer is a regular customer.

Critically evaluate the levers of change being used. Outline any others that may have been applied.
There are certain levers of change considered by authors and intellectuals. Regardless of number of levers and their conception all intellectuals agree that a single lever can never pace up a company’s progress no matter how considerately it is followed (Teece, 1997). It is a firm belief of intellectuals in this field that a number of levers must be amalgamated to presume a visible change in the company’s progress. Peter L. Brill (1997) divided levers of change into four categories, which are;
a.The human factor
b.the uses of power
c.the social processes
d.Dimensions of leadership
Another major resource, that is Prosci, defines levers of change in five parts, which are;
a.Communication lever
b.Sponsor roadmap lever
c.Coaching lever
d.Training lever
e.Resistance management lever
According to Prosci (2015) the input to all five levers is situation analysis and awareness. Once the initiator and members associated with anticipated change become aware of the present situation of organization’s potentials, failures, loop holes and overall position in market, then they should go towards practicing the change.

Threats: It is very important for the airport to understand the threats so that they could handle them within time. The biggest threat would be from the upcoming competitors which would also increase the market competition. The other possible threats for Auckland International Airport could be rise in the price of raw materials. The rise in price would lessen the margins in profit. The rise in the labor cost could also be one of the threats. An airport is a place which deals with different people and lots of processes; hence it is always vulnerable to face several unexpected issues and problems (Hollensen, 2015). One of the other threats could be the changes in Government regulations, as it would require changes in the current functioning procedures of the airport.
Influence on the decisions: There is no doubt in the fact that the internal and external factors play a very significant role in decisions taken by the mangers. While making the decisions the managers need to keep all the factors into consideration. For example while planning for the growth of the airport, now it is important for the decision makers to keep in mind about the weakness of the airport. They must plan something towards research and development department in order to make sure that the airport would be able to handle the upcoming threats like tough competition, rise in price etc.

Hence all the internal and external factors have got a direct impact on the decisions taken by the managers.

Formalization:
In the context of Dotti it can be seen that it is in between, when it comes to formalization. Where the work processes are structured it becomes easier for employee management, similarly Woolworths leans towards structured rules. On the other hand Bamboo House is less structured and hence might have lesser number of rules. While this encourages flexibility, too fewer rules could make the organization inefficient.
Specialization
With respect to specialization, Dotti has overlapping tasks and so do Bamboo house. Overlapping tasks would mean the task structures are not well defined. These forms of overlaps are good for businesses that are growing or are smaller in size. A business such as Woolworths which is seen more established with more formalization, the specialization level is also high.
 Hierarchy
In a taller hierarchy there is lesser autonomy, whereas in a flat hierarchy there are fewer levels in between leading to more autonomy in decision making (Griffin, 2015). Dotti and Bamboo House have more flat hierarchies and hence there is more freedom in decision making. Furthermore the flat hierarchy will also lead to increased communication and better feedback and timely results.  However as the organization grows without a chain of command which often takes a backseat in flat hierarchies there could be much confusion. Woolworths is more inclined towards a tall hierarchy and hence has a stricter chain of command.
Technology
Being in the restaurant business it is critical that the organization should take charge of quality for both its tangible and intangible products. Service as such is an intangible product. Bamboo House gives equal importance to its tangible and intangible products. Dotti retail sells clothes and accessories and Woolworths supermarket sells food products, and hence both are more focused on the tangible products. However the intangible product such as service within their stores must also be considered as this can also affect business success (by affecting customer retention) as noted in research (Sivadas, & Baker-Prewitt, 2000).

Composition of a number of individuals which contribute in formulating independent identity of the business for certain particular purpose is most commonly referred as the organization, and get the outcome being desired contributes in increasing the effectiveness of the employees. Effectiveness of the organization is considered as a notion of how effective organization seems to be like in the acceleration of development for the business organization on the whole with success (Guan, 2004). This also contributes in stating that this accomplishment is the outcome for the generation of aims for the organization. This is the net value of satisfaction of each and every constituent within the process to gather and transform outputs from the inputs in an effective and efficient manner.

The effectiveness of organization can be referred to as the limit to which the organization, by the utilization of specific resources, contributes in the fulfillment of its objectives in the absence of depletion in resources and in the absence of the placement of undue stain over the society and the members. In the success of the organization, motivation of employees seem to be playing a significant role (Guan, 2004). Organizations should be looking ahead of the extrinsic form of rewards at what really contributes in driving people in a successful manner, and providing examples and instances regarding how recognition and reward can be aligned and harnessed as an effective tool of motivating the employees. Recognition and rewards create a good sense of feeling, for looking good and doing good things. All these are important and highly dependent on the success of the organization.

1. Cost is an essential commodity which if properly applied at the right place can convert most adversaries into more opportunities. Cost is expensive as it may contain debt or other related costs, but it must be applied perfectly in areas like customer service, logistics, training which can give profitable returns in the future.

2. The cost of the product is an important indicator of customer perception about the company and the product. Pricing the products at the right level is essential part of the customer acquisition strategy and it may not be so useful if it is priced above the market rates. Dell has a good pricing strategy and it is using it to make customers come again and make a purchase. This also indicates that the company has been able to keep the material purchase pricing at a low level.

Phase from 1980-1996 saw a major reform in terms of decentralization of employee relations system. This was achieved by The Labor Government through support provided by various unions (Australian Council of Trade Unions, 1987). Early 1990s, further flexibility in the labour market was introduced by The Labour government, when permission was granted for non-union agreements in the workplace. Presence of non-union agreements in workplace although was termed as a major controversial decision, however it resulted into further radical changes in late 1990s, when The Labor Government had to quit their office post defeat in the poll.

Post 1996, when Liberal-National Party Coalition government came into power, a relatively ‘hard line’ stand was taken towards reform of labour market. As a result of this ‘tough’ policy approach, there were several instances of conflicts and frictions between government and the union movements. This was majorly due the fact, that under the new government changes and reforms at the workplace were majorly driven by the employer itself, which gradually led to ignorance of unions (Fairbrother & Yates, 2013). Also government post 1996 was supportive towards growth of an individual rather than making policy which could have pushed the collective growth of the workplace reforms.
In order to assess the accord between the unions and the federal Labor government in the 1980s and 1990s, it is critical to analyse the interrelationship between worker/employee relations at national level, and workplace related changes and innovation at enterprise level. This is necessary to analyse, especially due to high institutionalization of employee relations since early part of 20th century, and important role played by the unions towards the regulation related to labour market.
